Marathon mom Krista DuChene made history on Monday finishing 3rdat the historic Boston Marathon in a time of 2:44:20. The last time a Canadian woman stood on the podium at this prestigious event was when Jacqueline Gareau finished 2ndin 1982 and again in 1983.
In the men’s race Reid Coolsaet also recorded a top 10 finish, coming through in 2:25:02 for 9thplace.
Jason Dunkerley finished 3rdin the visually impaired division with a time of 3:13:58.
