Nanimo Timbermen Junior A Welcome Thomas Vaesen

The Nanaimo Timbermen Junior A Team is anticipating the arrival of Thomas Vaesen this week. Vaesen was acquired from the Victoria Shamrocks in a trade for Zach Manns in March.
Vaesen will be arriving from the University of Montevallo in Alabama where he is studying on a field lacrosse scholarship. He was an impact player as a freshman at Montevallo where he ranked in the top 10 among conference players in goals, assists, points and shots per game.
Vaesen is a talented lefty who scored 49 goals and 87 points last box season and was named the MVP of the Intermediate A Provincials.
Vaesen played his minor lacrosse with the Cowichan Thunder and is a graduate of the Claremont Lacrosse Academy. Thomas will be reunited with team mates from both of these teams as a member of the Tmen.We look forward to Thomas making an impact with the young Tmen offence this season.
