Canadian women’s sevens team partners with KidSport on Friday May 4th to inspire the next generation to take the field.

In the lead-up to the 2018 HSBC Canada Women’s Sevens tournament at Westhills Stadium on May 12 & 13, the Canadian Women’s Sevens team is partnering with KidSport Greater Victoria on Friday, May 4th to help remove financial barriers for local youth to play the game they love.

 

The Canadian women’s sevens team is hosting a free clinic for local youth with an exciting afternoon of drills, games and skill building exercises to help familiarize them with the game of rugby. Kids will have the chance to work with the some of the world’s best in women’s rugby sevens ahead of their world series tournament that returns to Westhills Stadium May 12-13.  The clinic is free to all interested youth, and donations in support of KidSport Greater Victoria will be accepted.
