The Nanaimo Junior A Timbermen earned a win over the Delta Islanders on Sunday on the road at the Ladner Leisure Center.

The Tmen got on the board with a short handed goal by rookie Arthur Miller . Thomas Vaesen contributed three goals as did another impressive rookie Ryan Sheridan. Wilson Gurney added two goals and Ari Stevens Jake Mickelson Liam Blair and Matt Odwyer each scored as well. Dakota Kaper was impressive in goal facing 48 shots.

The Tmen next face the powerful Coquitlam Adanacs on the road Sunday May 27 at 5:00 p.m. This young team is seeing some impressive performances on offence with Colton Lidstone and Thomas Vaesen tied for second in the league for points . Lidstone also leads the league in assists.
