Allura Zamarripa took home both the singles and doubles titles at the Panorama International Junior ITF Tennis Championships.

Zamarripa defeated Sophia Ho of Vancouver in three sets to capture the girls singles  title at the Panorama international Junior ITF Tennis Championships.  After having lost the first set , Zamarripa was able  to turn tables to win the last two sets by adjusting her strategy and adding more variation during the rallies to throw off the rhythm of Ho. Zamarripa partnering with twin sister Maribella captured their first ITF doubles Title on Firday.

Raul Dobal of Vancouver captured the boys singles title with a two sets victory over “the lefty from Down Under” Patrick Kotan.

Dobai’s serve and ground stroke pressure proved too much for Kotan who reached the finals by defeating two top 4 seeds , Luka Vukovic (#2) in the quarters and Marko Stakusic (#4) in the semis.

Panorama will be playing host to a professional Women’s Tennis event in three weeks when the $15,000 EncoreFX International Women’s ITF Tennis Championships come to Victoria June 16-25.
