Chahal Priddle increases commitment to WolfPack Athletics

Chahal Priddle LLP is definitely a fan of the Thompson Rivers University WolfPack.   After initially coming on board as a sponsor with the WolfPack in 2016, the Kamloops based law firm has increased its commitment to the Athletics program.

Chahal Priddle LLP and the WolfPack have reached a new three year agreement (2018-2020) with a total commitment of $15, 000.

Hardeep Chahal states, “We are excited to continue supporting the TRU WolfPack for another three years.  Through the first two years of our sponsorship, we saw the men’s soccer team achieve astounding success at both the league and national levels.  By renewing our commitment, we believe we will be adding to the strength of our athletics programs and the success of our sports communities in Kamloops.  We firmly believe that growth of sports at the grassroots level is more likely to occur with continued support of elite programs like what is happening at Thompson Rivers University. We believe what’s going on with the WolfPack is beneficial to providing a great vehicle for development of our youth.”

WolfPack Athletics and Recreation Director Curtis Atkinson says, “We are so grateful that Chahal Priddle LLP extended our partnership agreement for another three-years. They are a strong supporter of community and we are so fortunate that they see the benefits of investing in university sport. This partnership creates wonderful opportunities for many student-athletes to pursue their academic and athletic careers in Kamloops, allows us to continue our pursuit of sustained competitive excellence, and will help us inspire young athletes in our community.”

Chahal Priddle LLP has been a great community citizen and sponsors a number of initiatives including teams at Soccer Quest, a team in the Kamloops Recreational Soccer League and sponsor initiatives like the Royal Inland Hospital Foundation, MS Walk Kamloops, Iccha Wish Fund and the Kamloops Brain Injury Association. In fact, Hardeep Chahal is also a long time minor soccer coach. His first exposure to TRU Athletics came in 2015 when his son’s team was a part of activities at a WolfPack men’s soccer match at Hillside Stadium.

The new three year agreement includes $ 2,500 towards men’s soccer scholarships and $2,500 towards a Sports Task Force Golf sponsorship each year.

Chahal Priddle LLP had a foursome and a half ride sponsorship at the 2018 edition of the tournament, which was played last week at The Dunes of Kamloops.
