Victoria, BC – The Victoria Royals today announced their pre-season schedule in preparation for the 2018-19 Western Hockey League Regular Season.


The Royals’ five-game pre-season schedule has the club set to play each opponent from the BC Division once, along with the US Division’s Everett Silvertips. All five contests will be played on the road.


Victoria will open their pre-season on Friday, August 31st against the Kelowna Rockets at Prospera Place. The club will then face the Kamloops Blazers on Saturday, September 1st at the Sandman Centre. Puck drop for Friday’s game is schedule for 7:05 p.m., while Saturday’s contest will take place at 7:00 p.m.


The Royals conclude their pre-season the following weekend when they face the Vancouver Giants, Everett and the Prince George Cougars as part of the Giants’ Pre-Season Tournament. Victoria will play Vancouver on Friday, September 7th at 7:00 p.m. The Royals will then battle the Silvertips on Saturday, September 8th at 3:00 p.m. and the Cougars at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 9th.
