The Nanaimo Timbermen Junior B1 team recognized several players on Sunday as they concluded another successful season of growth and development. This was the first season of a five year Junior program for the B.C. Junior Lacrosse League and the Timbermen organization was very pleased with how their young squad adapted to the change. Kyle Drouin was recognized as Top Rookie and Top Scorer.
Karson Gregory was named Top Defenseman. Most Improved player was Travis Clark. Geoff Ward and Jake McGonigle shared the Unsung Hero Award. Cole Christensen was the Players Choice winner. Kyle Drouin and Cole Christensen were cowinners of the team MVP award as well.
The team is coached by Brian Suckling and managed by Paula Harris. The future is bright for the Nanaimo Timbermen !
