WEST KELOWNA, B.C. – The British Columbia Hockey League announced on Tuesday the schedule for the 2018 Bauer BCHL Showcase held at Prospera Centre in Chilliwack, B.C.

It’s the seventh consecutive year that the Showcase will take place in Chilliwack and at Prospera Centre with a bit of a twist from previous seasons. The Showcase will go back to the use of two ice surfaces and will only last three days, running from Thursday, September 20th to Saturday, September 22nd.

The last two previous seasons saw only the main rink in Prospera Centre used as the event lasted over five days but was shortened for this season. The Warriors will begin their Showcase on Thursday, September 20th in the secondary rink against the Prince George Spruce Kings at 1:30 PM before playing as the home team on Friday, September 21st for another afternoon start of 1:00 PM against the Nanaimo Clippers.

The Showcase has been a strong event for West Kelowna in the past, having won their last 10 games at the annual event in Chilliwack and are 10-2 over the seven-year history of the Showcase.

The games will be broadcasted live on mixlr.com/bchlwarriors as well as streamed on HockeyTV with the Voice of the Warriors, Trevor Miller as will every one of the 58 games on the schedule for the 2018/19 season. Preseason dates will be released shortly with more information to follow.
