Canada is among the eight NORCECA teams that will battle at the Ciudad Deportiva Coliseum in Havana, Cuba, for one spot available to next year’s U21 FIVB World Championship.

Full list of U21 Continental Championship (Aug. 27 to Sept. 01) teams:
Barbados, Canada, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Haiti, Nicaragua and United States.

Cuba has won the tournament a record five times followed by United States with three. Canada took two of the first gold medals disputed in the age-group category, and last won a medal in 2016 (bronze).

Canada’s preliminary schedule:

Aug 28 – CAN – NCA – 16:00
Aug 29 – CAN – USA – 16:00

The top team (1st place) from this event qualifies for the 2019 FIVB U21 World Championship.
