The game started with the Kings defense looking like they could handle the Cougars attacks. That is until the Cougars were able to break through as Mateo Albinati the league’s top scorer, roofs it on Matthias Smith of the Kings. Comox was able to tie the game, as Finn Withey would go on and score the King’s only goal for the game.
The Cougars, on the other hand, had a good amount of success as they were able to score three unanswered goals from Matthew Clark, Jack Hanrahan, and Marshall Brown. Although the Cougars had two goals called back for goaltender interference, It did not affect them at the end of the night.
