The Ranfurly Shield, known as the Log o’ Wood, is a trophy in New Zealand’s domestic rugby union competition. Dating back to 1904, the Shield is based on a challenge system, rather than a league or knockout competition.
The 24-year-old second row and former Canada U20 standout has 10 caps for Canada, dating back to his debut against Georgia last November in Tbilisi.
