Just A Bit Outside – Episode 122

Something historically good is happening in Vancouver, and it’s not just another episode of Just A Bit Outside. Petey-mania is sweeping the city, with the Canucks rookie drawing comparisons to some all-time greats. Is he a generational player, or is it just a buzz word? We look at what the Canucks have done so far this year, and what may be in store for their second long eastern road trip. Are all the young guys stepping up, or should some be in Utica (or maybe another option)?

It’s playoff time in the CFL, and we look at the BC Lions path to the Eastern Final. Yes, only in the CFL could a team from Vancouver play for an Eastern title. Can they bounce back from two lackluster outings to beat Hamilton? Is Travis Lulay still the guy to push this team forward, or is this the final game of the illustrious career of Wally Buono?

The Seahawks stumbled this past week at home against the Chargers. Did they beat themselves, or did some guys in stripes lend a hand? Can they recover to still fight for a playoff spot, or is the uphill climb too much? It’s halfway through the season, and both the NFC and AFC are wide open for the taking. All this and more, including our usual best and worst in Garbage Time!
