Hunchak Named Minor Midget Player of the Month


BC Hockey announced that Brendan Hunchak of the Thompson Blazers has been named the Minor Midget League (MML15) Player of the Month for October 2018.

Hunchak, from Kamloops, BC, helped the Blazers to a 5-3-1 record to start the season, including a record of 5-0-1 record in the last six (6) games. Hunchak currently is tied for second in team and league scoring with eight (8) goals and eight (8) assists for 16 points in nine (9) games. Hunchak, along with his teammates Branden Toye and Ethan Sanders, are the top three (3) scorers in the MML15.

Hunchak recently volunteered his time with the Kamloops Rotary Club.
