“The best way to spread Christmas cheer, is ‘playing hockey’ loud for all to hear!” On Saturday, December 8th at the Pacific Coliseum, the Vancouver Giants will host their 2018 playoff rivals the Victoria Royals for Chevrolet Teddy Bear Toss, and they’ll be doing so wearing limited edition, one-game only Buddy the Elf themed jerseys!

“Teddy Bear Toss is one of the most highly anticipated games of the season and the Vancouver Giants are always trying to set the bar higher when it comes to the Teddy Bear Toss experience for our fans,” said Giants VP Operations & Assistant General Manager, Peter Toigo. “Who better than a team full of Buddy the Elves to get everybody into the holiday spirit?”

All fans attending Saturday’s Chevrolet Teddy Bear Toss game are encouraged to bring new stuffed toys, toques, mittens, and scarves with them to the game. Then when the Giants score their first goal of the game all items can then be thrown onto the ice! From there, all donations are gathered up, loaded into bins, the Fanboni and brand new Chevrolet vehicles and are donated to various children’s charities within the Lower Mainland.
