Vancouver Island Minor Hockey players invited to watch Team Canada practice

Team Canada held their practice Thursday morning at Save on Foods Memorial Centre and B.C. Hockey invited hockey players on Vancouver Island to come and watch and take in the experience. Hundreds of kids showed up wearing Team Canada Jerseys and hats showing their support for our country’s team. The youngsters got an unexpected treat and at the end of the practice when Team Canada’s coach Tim Hunter and a few of the players tossed pucks over the glass to some lucky kids.
