Right for the puck drop Nanaimo seemed to come out flat and never found their game being shut out at home in front of 1100 fans.

Salmon Arm came out with something to prove as they lost the evening before in Port Alberni to the bulldogs 6-3. This is the 4th loss in a row for the Clippers after winning 10 straight for the longest win streak in the BCHL this season.

Before the game the Nanaimo clipper billets were honored before puck drop. In the end Salmon Arm had 2 power plays and didn’t capitalize on either of them ,with Nanaimo had 4 power plays of their own and had the same out come.
