Female Basketball Athlete of the Week
Tessa Lannon-Paakspuu – Camosun Chargers

Tessa continues to lead the Chargers with her sheer hard work, grit and determination. On Friday she had 13 points, six rebounds, four assists, and six steals in 26 minutes of play. Then on Saturday she stepped it up big time for the Chargers and scored 28 points (going 9 for 9 from the FT line), grabbed seven rebounds, and added three assists and three steals in 31 minutes of play. Tessa’s performance was a key factor in helping the Chargers advance to the #2 spot in the PACWEST conference standings.

Male Athlete of the Week
Landon Radliff – VIU Mariners

The Mariners third year guard was a stat stuffer in two weekend wins over the Okanagan College Coyotes. Friday night he led the Mariners with 24 points, 11 rebounds, six assists had a steal and two blocks. Then on Saturday Radliff was near a triple double as he contributed 21 points, nine rebounds, eight assists, six steals and had a block. This is the second straight week Radliff has won this weekly award.
