The Langley Jr A Thunder travelled to the Cowichan Island Savings Center on Saturday to take on the Nanaimo Jr A Timbermen as Nanaimo arenas were being used to support the 39th Annual Tim White Memorial Bantam Tournament .The score was tied at 4 after the first. The Thunder led 9-8 after the second,Nanaimo took the third period outscoring Langley 3 goals to 1 to go on to win 11-10. Thomas Vaesen led the offence with 3 goals and 3 assists. Ryan Sheridan contributed 2 goals and 3 assists.

Nathan McKeigan led the Thunder offence with 3 goals and 1 assist. Justin Geddie was strong in the Timbermen net making 37 saves on the strong Thunder team who sit second in the league standings. Nanaimo now holds a season record of 5 and 1 and are fourth in league standings.The Timbermen travel to Port Coquitlam today to take on the Saints.
