The Alberni Valley Bulldogs announced today that the club would be providing a no-charge fan bus for fans interested in attending Sunday afternoon’s game in Campbell River.
The Bus will depart the Multiplex parking lot at 11:00 am on Sunday morning, and return to the Multiplex at the conclusion of the game.
Fans interested in riding the no-charge bus are asked to email [email protected] with their name and if they would require 1 or 2 seats.
Should the club receive more than 56 requested seats, they will hold a lottery on Friday evening and notify those selected.
“Playing a game in Campbell River was not something we wanted to see happen, but we’re trying to make the best of the situation.” said Bulldogs president David Michaud. “The outpouring of support from our fan base has been really special, so we wanted to come up with a way to say thank you.”
The Bulldogs were forced to relocate their game to Campbell River’s Rod Brind’Amour Arena for 2:00 pm Sunday as Ice in the Multiplex has yet to be re-installed.
Fans with a ticket for Sunday’s game can exchange them at the Bulldogs office for a no-charge ticket in Campbell River. The office is open until 4:00 pm on Wednesday, 1 to 5 pm on Thursday, and 9am – 2pm on Friday.
