With Merritt’s 6-3 loss to Vernon on Tuesday, the Grizzlies have clinched their spot in the 2020 BCHL post-season. Currently, the Grizzlies sit first place in the wildcard race. Barring the Grizzlies catching up to Alberni Valley, they would crossover into the interior division along with one team from the Mainland Division. Matchups will be determined by seeding (1-8).

As it stands, Interior Division playoff matchups would be:

-Penticton (1) Vs. West Kelowna (8)

-Trail (2) Vs. Prince George (7)

-Salmon Arm (3) Vs. Victoria (6)

-Vernon (4) Vs. Wenatchee (5)
Later rounds will maintain the same format, with the highest seed playing the lowest seed, second-highest seed playing the second-lowest, and so on.

With 8 games remaining in the regular season, matchups are still undecided. The Grizzlies are in a tight race with Prince George and West Kelowna, proving importance to the games down the stretch.
