The Prince George Spruce Kings have acquired F Hunor Torzsok (’00) from the Merritt Centennials in exchange for future considerations.

Torzsok finished the 2019-20 campaign with 16 goals and 3 assists in 38 games played. The 6’2, 201 pound 20 year old has played 74 BCHL games with both the Centennials and the Nanaimo Clippers. Torzsok also has nearly 40 games of Western Hockey League experience, having stints with the Vancouver Giants and the Everett Silvertips.

“Hunor is a veteran player that will be a good addition to our lineup,” says GM Mike Hawes. “He provides some size up front and is a good person that will add some more leadership to our group.”

Before his junior hockey career, the Cloverdale BC product spent two seasons with the Delta Hockey Academy and also played 8 games with the Valley West Hawks (now called Giants) of the BC Major Midget League.
