Kamloops, BC – The Kamloops Blazers will be hosting the Red Deer Rebels and the Edmonton Oil Kings on Friday and Saturday this weekend.

The Blazers and Rebels will meet on Friday, November 11th in an afternoon game at 2:00pm. In honour of Remembrance Day, all Veterans are welcome and encouraged to attend the game for only $10 when they present their membership card.

Home Depot will be giving away thundersticks for the first 2000 fans that enter the building. Fans are encouraged to bring their skates and participate in the Fan Skate following the afternoon game. All the Blazers will be on the ice to skate and sign autographs for the fans.

On Saturday, November 12th the Blazers host the Oil Kings at 7:00pm. Prior to the start of the game, there will be a cheque presentation to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation of the funds raised during Pink Powerplay Month.

Throughout the month of November the Blazers will be growing moustaches to support and raise money for the Canadian Cancer Society. Go to for more details or to donate to the cause.
