The Vancouver Stealth (2-1) are back on the road when they visit the Buffalo Bandits (0-2) this Saturday, January 21, 2017, in Week 4 action.

After dropping their home opener to Calgary over the weekend the Stealth look to take their record to 3-1. Vancouver is off to their hottest start as a franchise since 2013, which was their last appearance in a Champion’s Cup Final.

Although the schedule was set to be cruel to start the season off, Vancouver has faired very well on the road, securing a 2-0 record. The Stealth’s lethal offense is led by National Lacrosse League Leader Rhys Duch who has 10 goals and 13 assists in 3 games and Corey Small is in second place, with 9 goals and 11 assists.

Buffalo dropped their first two games of the season to Colorado 12-8 in Week 1 and Georgia 18-14 in Week 3. The Bandits have not started a season off 0-3 since 2010. To make matters worse for the Bandits, they will be without 2016 NLL MVP Dhane Smith. Buffalo sits tied for last place in the Eastern Division.

The Stealth are atop of the Western Division and have the most goals for (37) in the NLL. Vancouver has had timely goals from Logan Schuss (6), Keegan Bal (4), and Joel McCready (3). Jordan Durston, Justin Salt, Tommy McKee, Travis Cornwall and Thomas Hoggarth have all scored a goal for the Stealth this season.

After this game, Vancouver will once again be playing back-to-back games next week. The second half will be at home against the Georgia Swarm on Saturday, January 28, 2017. The night will be dubbed the “Stealth Experience” where any youth wearing a minor sports jersey will get into the Langley Events Centre for free with an accompanying adult. After the game, Stealth players will invite fans onto the turf where they will be playing games, hosting demonstrations and signing autographs.
