(Halifax, N.S.) – The Dalhousie Tigers have entered a multi-year partnership agreement with Under Armour and Cleve’s Source for Sports.
The partnership will see all 14 Tigers varsity teams exclusively outfitted in Under Armour uniforms, apparel and training gear with Cleve’s Source for Sports being the official supplier for the product.
Dalhousie joins an exclusive group of four schools in U SPORTS to partner with Under Armour a deal that extends to 2021.
Tim Maloney, Dalhousie’s Athletic Director, is excited about the new partnership for a variety of reasons.
“Our Under Armour partnership offers us the opportunity to enhance our brand, improve our student-athlete experience and differentiate our position in the marketplace,” says Maloney. “Equally important, we have an experienced and respected local supplier in Cleve’s who will play an important role in our way forward.”
“Cleve’s is extremely pleased to be working with all Dalhousie Tigers teams, providing Under Armour sportswear, uniforms and footwear,” says Cleve’s president, Kevin Bezanson. “Under Armour is the fastest growing high performance athletic company in the world, and Cleve’s will provide the local service to fulfill the Tigers needs.”
Women’s volleyball player Mieke DuMont got a sneak peek of the upcoming Under Armour line and is looking forward to gearing up next fall. “Everything I’ve seen from Under Armour fits comfortably, is of high quality and is fashionable,” says DuMont. “I can’t wait to train and compete in our new Under Armour product.”
