Jr. B Tier 1 Shamrocks, General Manager Wade Murray, has announced the coaching staff for the 2019 season. It is a brand-new coaching staff for the Tier 1’s. There are two not one Head Coach. The new Head Co- Coaches are best friends Ted Jenner and Tyler Heavenor. Jenner, the Off the Crosse-Bar host has been very successful as both a player and a minor coach and is very much looking forward to coaching the Tier 1’s. Jenner and Heavenor played a year in Bantam together and were teammates for all of their junior and senior careers.
When asked what he was most looking forward to Jenner said “Truly, I’m most excited about coaching a group of young men that want to take their game to the next level”. In minor, lots of kids play because their parents signed them up”. “In Jr., kids want to be here which makes the experience that much more enjoyable.” “Obviously this team set a strong precedence last year winning the league so we want to make sure we grow off that success while continuing to help these young men be the best they can be both on and off the floor.”
Jenner and Heavenor have added former Jr. WLA and NLL goalie Ray Hodgkinson as goalie coach to their staff. They will be adding another assistant before the season starts. Watch ISN for the schedule once it is finalized and coach and player highlight stories.
