After a win this afternoon over the Calgary Hitmen, the Edmonton Oil Kings are 2018-19 Central Division Champions.
Today marks the fourth time in modern franchise history the Oil Kings have earned the division title, and first time since the 2013-14 season (2011-12, 2012-13, 2013-14, 2018-19).
The Oil Kings will face the Medicine Hat Tigers in the opening round of the 2019 WHL Playoffs.
