The Nanaimo buccaneers started the game just nine seconds in with the tripping penalty and it went downhill from there.

It was all Cougars in the second,getting two more goals making it 4-0 heading into the third.
That was enough for Bucs goalie who got the hook in hopes that would spur the team on.
Third period was full of penalties and the Buccaneers would come on strong and get a goal but the cougars were just too dominant on this night winning 5-1.
