The Seattle Seahawks 2019 schedule was announced today by the National Football League. The Seahawks schedule features five prime time games, making it the seventh-consecutive season with four or more. Seattle has three prime time road games for the first time since 2014, a four-game stretch playing in prime time with alternating Monday/Sunday night games, four 10 a.m. kickoffs, the most since having five in 2013, and alternate home/away games for the first 10 weeks of the season. Seattle is 11-6 in its last 17 10 a.m. PT kickoffs.
Aiming to return to the postseason for the eighth time in 10 seasons during John Schneider’s and Pete Carroll’s tenure, the Seahawks will play five games against 2018 playoff teams in 2019, facing the L.A. Rams, Baltimore Ravens, and New Orleans Saints at CenturyLink Field, and the L.A. Rams and Philadelphia Eagles on the road.
Facing two AFC North opponents to begin play, the Seahawks kick off the season at home for only the seventh time in the last 20 seasons as they host the Cincinnati Bengals (9/8) at CenturyLink Field and then travel to Pittsburgh (9/15) to face the Steelers. Seattle then closes out the month of September hosting New Orleans (9/22) and beginning NFC West division play at Arizona (9/29) in Week 4 for the second-consecutive season.
A quick turnaround sees Seattle play the first of its five prime time games as they host Super Bowl LIII runner-up Los Angeles Rams (10/3) on Thursday Night Football with a long week heading in to a road game at Cleveland (10/13). Games against Baltimore (10/20), at Atlanta (10/27) and Tampa Bay (11/3) precede Seattle’s string of four prime time games over a five-week span as the Seahawks travel to the San Francisco 49ers (11/11) for their first of two appearances on Monday Night Football.
Enjoying a Week 11 bye week, the latest bye since a Week 12 open date in 2013, the Seahawks play three of four on the road with two Sunday Night Football games at Philadelphia (11/24) and at the Los Angeles Rams (12/8) with a Monday Night Football game vs. Minnesota (12/2) sandwiched in between.
The Carolina Panthers (12/15) continue to appear on the Seahawks schedule as the two teams will meet for the 10th time since the 2010 season (eight regular season, two postseason), and in Charlotte for the fifth time. Seattle concludes the season with two division opponents at home; Arizona (12/22) and San Francisco (12/29).
All four Seahawks preseason games can be seen on Q13 FOX and heard on 710 ESPN Seattle and KIRO Radio 97.3 FM.
