May 19,2019 Victoria, BC (ISN) – The 156th Victoria Highland Games, living up to every bit the successful event it was toughted to be, entertained the throngs of fans that attended on day two action of the three day, long-weekend event Sunday.
With a wide variety of activities for all, the Games has quickly become a destination for many from Highland games fans from across Canada, the USA and internationally to take part in whether for completion of just taking in the festvities over the Victoria Day long weekend.
“The annual Victoria Highland Games & Celtic Festival is held over over a 10 day period, culminating in the May long weekend events held at Topaz Park in Victoria, BC.
This is one of the oldest festivals in North America and one of the very few 3 full day Highland Games. The festival regularly attracts around 25,000 people to the Topaz Park events each year.”
Organizers anticipate that the 2019 event will be the largest in its 156 year history.
