The Jr. Shamrocks are hosting a special Alumni Day Saturday, June 22. Both the Jr. ‘B’ Tier 1 and Jr. ‘A’ teams will be in action with the Tier 1 group taking on the Port Coquitlam Saints at 1:00 and the Jr. ‘A’ squad hosting the Delta Islanders at 5:00 pm, both games taking place at the Q Centre.
There will be a tailgate party between games, beginning approximately 3:00 pm with food by Mr. Mike’s.
During the Jr. ‘A’ game, the team will wear special retro jerseys as we welcome players from past Jr. ‘A’ Victoria teams, including 3 Minto Cup winning teams.
The Minto Cup banners now hang from the rafters alongside the 9 WLA Shamrocks’ Mann Cup banners.
There will also be some special events such as hardest shot contests for minor players, Frisbee toss, minor teams playing during intermissions, Shamrocks merchandise and other events.
