Highlanders FC are pleased to announce that Victoria’s Centennial Stadium will be the host site for the 2019 Pacific Coast Soccer League playoffs. Also known as the 2019 Challenge Cup, the Semi-Finals will be played on Saturday, July 27th (2:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. kickoffs) and the 2019 PCSL Final will be played on Sunday, July 28th (1:30 p.m. kickoff).

“The Highlanders’ PCSL squad has had an exceptional season and we are proud of the hard work they’ve put in,” stated Highlanders general manager and co-owner Mark deFrias. “We are excited to have the opportunity to host the PCSL Challenge Cup at Centennial Stadium this season. It is another opportunity for the people in our community to see the development of our program and the up and coming players that are looking to take the next step in their careers.”

Four teams will square off for the right to win the 2019 Sheila Anderson Memorial Challenge Cup. The Victoria Highlanders Second Team and FC Tigers Vancouver have clinched the first two playoff spots while the final two spots will come down to a four-team battle between Surrey United, Okanagan FC, PSC Tim Hortons Pinnacles, and Kamloops Wolfpack. The Highlanders Second Team will have the chance to compete for the trophy on home soil.

The Semi-Final matches (Saturday, July 27th) and the Sunday Final (July 28th) will be a five-dollar entry with free admission for kids 12 and under. Mai Mai’s Streamline (July 27th) and Phillips Brewery bar will be open during the matches.
