The Nanaimo JrA Timbermen and the Coquitlam JrA Adanacs met for games 3 and 4 of their best of 7 BCJALL semifinal round on the weekend at the Frank Crane Arena in Nanaimo. The Adanacs took game 3 by a score of 10-9 and were led offensively by Dennon Armstrong with 4 goals and Thomas Semple with 5 assists.
Nate Faccin was strong in the Coquitlam goal. The Timbermen battled hard throughout with goals by Kyle Dawson (3) Ryan Sheridan (2) Mat Jung Arthur Miller Thomas Vaesen and Levi Verch.
Prior to Sunday’s game the Timbermen were honoured to have Nanaimo MLA Shelia Malcolmson conduct a ceremonial faceoff.

This game saw the Timbermen rebound with a disciplined effort which earned them a 10-5 victory. Ryan Sheridan led the scoring with 4 goals. Thomas Vaesen and Colton Lidstone each had a pair of goals with Arthur Miller and Will Johansen each contributing one. Justin Geddie stood tall in goal saving 50 of 55 shots against the very talented Adanac offence .
The Timbermen continue to play strong team defense in front of Geddie . Rookie Evan Soucy has been impressive on D  along with his brother veteran Graden Soucy.
Mason McAdams and Zack Sawyer are always rock solid defenders for the Tmen never taking a shift off. To say these Timbermen have come together as a team is a huge understatement.
Its a new day for island lacrosse.
Coach and General Manager Dave Bremner continues to do excellent work developing this young group.
Game five will see the Timbermen travel to the Coquitlam Sports Center Friday.
