The Western Lacrosse Association has announced that Victoria Shamrocks goalie Pete Dubenski has been named WLA Goalie of the Week .
After holding the Coquitlam Adanacs to just 2 goals on Friday night, the Shamrocks turned back to Dubenski on Sunday night against the Burnaby Lakers in a key WLA showdown. Dubenski stood tall once again and backstopped the Shamrocks to the weekend sweep. Add it all up and Dubenski finished the weekend with 2 wins and a .868 save percentage.
Dubenski, who was acquired back in May from the Nanaimo Timbermen is now 6-2-0 on the season.
