After dropping game 1 on the mainland Saturday, the Jr. ‘A’ Shamrocks returned to the Q Center for game 2 Sunday. Although it was a much closer game, the Shamrocks dropped the 10-7 decision giving the Jr. Adanacs the league title in 2 straight games.
Casey Wilson and Patrick Dodds each had a hat trick for the Rocks with Brayden Brown picking up the other goal.
Ben Preston had 4 assists. Brody Harris and Ryan Atkinson split the time in goal with Harris allowing 9 goals on 26 shots and Atkinson allowing just a single goal on 15 shots.
Both teams now take a break before advancing to the Minto Cup beginning August 16.
Playoffs are ongoing in the other two leagues to determine the other participants.
