The Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre and the Select Your Tickets Box Office would like to remind fans that tickets for Vancouver Canucks and Calgary Flames exhibition game go on sale tomorrow at 10 a.m. PDT and are expected to go quickly.

With the expected overwhelming demand for tickets, fans are strongly encouraged to purchase their tickets at www.selectyourtickets.com.

“With the speed and efficiency of ticket sales on the internet,” Dave Dakers, President of RG Sports and Entertainment said, “the odds, for even the first 10 people, who line-up at the Select Your Tickets Box Office to get tickets are not high. Fans overwhelmingly give themselves the best chance to secure tickets through online purchase.”

People are advised to prepare for the on-sale by going to www.selectyourtickets.com in advance to create their account. An account is necessary to purchase tickets online.

The other two avenues for purchase are by telephone or to show up in person at the Select Your Ticket Box Office where a random line-up policy will be in effect (see below). Due to the efficiency of internet sales there will be limited access to tickets to those choosing either phone or the in person purchasing options.

There is a limit of eight (8) tickets per person. Orders exceeding the ticket limit may be cancelled without notice by Select Your Tickets in its discretion. This includes multiple orders having the same account number, name, billing address or credit card.

For phone orders patrons need to call the Select Your Tickets Box Office at 250-220-7777. If you choose to try and secure tickets at the Select Your Ticket Box Office, the Random Line-Up/Lottery Draw Policy will be in place:

Random Line-Up/Lottery Draw Policy for Select Your Ticket On Sales:

Upon arrival please wait to receive a numbered ticket. Tickets will be handed out starting 90 minutes prior to the on-sale time until 35 minutes prior to the on-sale time. Once you’ve received a numbered ticket, you are not required to remain on the premises; however you must be present 30 minutes prior to the on sale time for the random ticket draw. 30 minutes prior to the on-sale a number will be drawn and that person will become first in line with all those numbers after that lining up sequentially behind. Those that have a number that precedes the first number drawn will go to the end of the line. The individual must be present when the numbers are drawn 30 minutes prior to ensure their spot in line. For those not present 30 minutes before, and for those individuals who show up after the numbers are distributed, they will be placed in a separate line that will not be serviced until after all the individuals that participated in the Random Line-Up/Lottery Draw Policy have gone through. This process is to ensure consumer fairness.
