Canada has announced its teams for the 2019 Men’s and Women’s NORCECA Champions Cup Tournament in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Aug. 22 to 24.
The Canadian men’s team kicks off the tournament facing Cuba on Thursday at 1 pm local time, and the women meet host USA at 5 pm local that same day.
The top team of each gender from this tournament will enter the zonal Olympic qualification tournament in January 2020. Canada will host the next pre-qualifier for men’s teams, Sept. 02 to 07 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, where top three advance to the January tournament.
