Vancouver Whitecaps FC are hosting the club’s third annual Legends & Stars charity soccer match, presented by Daily Hive, on Saturday, September 14.
Among this year’s celebrity and alumni participants for the event at BC Place will be Vancouver-born actor Jacob Tremblay, best known for his starring roles in Room, Wonder, and most recently Good Boys.
Tremblay will be joined by Supernatural stars Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki, Ross Lynch from Netflix series Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, as well as cast from The 100, Riverdale, Siren, A Million Little Things, and more. Canadian artist and actor Taylor Shaw will sing the national anthem and also play in the match.
Fans can attend the Legends & Stars charity soccer match for $10, with all proceeds going to Whitecaps FC community partners. Attending fans must also have a ticket to Whitecaps FC’s Major League Soccer match vs. Houston Dynamo FC later that evening. Legends & Stars kicks off at 4:45 p.m. PT, followed by the MLS match at 7 p.m. PT.
