September 21, 2019 Victoria, BC (ISN) – The Westshore Rebels, hoping to share top spot in the BCFC with a win over the Rams, fell in a lopsided 54-3 loss to the undefeated, 7-0 Langley-based team at Westhills Stadium Saturday afternoon.
The Rebels put there best foot forward, despite missing nearly a dozen of their starting players, but couldn’t match the the high-powered Rams squad, ranked 2nd in the CJFL nation.
Both teams would spar to a 3-3 lead early in the first quarter, but the Rams would soon take the lead in the game, posting a 47-3 lead by the end of 2nd quarter on their way to the lopsided victory.
