The 2nd period started as Victoria was adding much more pressure in hopes for a goal. Keanu Derungs scored for the Royals picking up his 2nd goal of the season. (assists from Doust, Cutler). A series of other penalties would be present as both teams battled to the end of the period. (13:36 (PP). In the 3rd period, Victoria would score with 90 seconds left, as Carson Miller scored his 2nd (assist from Bryks, Herauf), 18:33. Prince George scored with seconds remaining, Schoettler getting his 1st goal of the season, sending the game into overtime.
Both teams went back and forth in overtime as the Royals had the upper hand on the pressure as they were able to get the puck early.
A shootout would happen as Prince George scored 1 from Ethan Browne putting the pressure on Victoria. Carson Miller made no mistake tying it, and Gary Haden sealed the deal popping the bottle winning it for Victoria.
