Toyota National Championships

With one champion already decided, the Teck Finals Day picture is now set at the 2019 Toyota National Championships in Edmonton, Alberta; Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island; and St. John’s, Newfoundland & Labrador.

Quebec’s Royal Sélect Beauport defeated Alberta’s Edmonton Northwest United 1:0 in extra time of the Gold Medal Match of the 2019 Toyota National Championships in St. John’s, Newfoundland & Labrador to win their second Jubilee Trophy.

The remaining Challenge Trophy matchups for Teck Finals Day were set on day five. With Group A winners Surrey’s Central City Breakers and Group B winners Ottawa’s St. Anthony, the Gold Medal Match was already locked down. Nova Scotia will play Alberta in the Bronze Medal Match after United DFC secured a single point from their match against Quebec’s Kodiak Charlesbourg.

In Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Calgary Foothills clinched their place in the Boys’ U-17 Cup Gold Medal Match with a win over PEI FC and will play Woodbridge SC of Ontario on Teck Finals Day. Quebec’s St Laurent and BC’s Mountain United will play-off in the Bronze Medal Match. The Girls’ U-17 Cup finalists (Lakeshore, QC and Ottawa TFC Academy, ON) were already decided after Saturday’s action, but Mountain United of BC, and Nova Scotia’s Halifax County, confirmed their places in the Bronze Medal Match.
Alberta’s St. Alberta Impact will meet Calgary Foothills FC in the 2019 Toyota National Championships Boys’ U-15 Cup Gold Medal Match on Teck Finals Day in Edmonton, AB. Foothills will also be represented in the Girls’ U-15 Cup Gold Medal Matches against Quebec’s AS Brossard. Manitoba’s Winnipeg Bonivital SC faces Quebec’s St. Laurent in the Bronze Medal Match on the Boys’ side of the draw with BC’s Surrey United facing New Brunswick’s CS Dieppe in the Girls’ Bronze Medal match.
