The Victoria Royals earned a 3-1 victory over the Tri-City Americans as goaltender Shane Farkas saved 30 of 31 shots he faced to earn second star honours

Versus Tri-City: The Royals have now earned points in both games that they have played against the Tri-City Americans this season. The club has gone 1-0-1-0 against the Americans, with both contests taking place on the road. These two teams next face-off on January 14, 2020 at Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre.

 

First as a Royal: Forward Graeme Bryks scored his first goal with the Royals tonight. Bryks has now recorded four points with the club this season (1g-3a).

 

Brotherly Love: Royals’ defenceman Will Warm and Americans’ goaltender Beck Warm are twin brothers. This is their second time playing against each other in the WHL, with their only prior match-up taking place on October 11, 2019.

 

Back in the Line-up: Royals’ defenceman Noah Lamb made his return to the line-up tonight. Lamb has been out of the line-up since October 22nd with a lower body injury.

The Royals will then host the Seattle Thunderbirds on Friday, December 6th and Saturday, December 7th. Saturday’s contest in the club’s annual Teddy Bear Toss game.
