The Nanaimo Clippers in partnership with Island Savings, a division of First West Credit Union, are proud to announce they will be hosting a Snuneymuxw First Nation Night on February 15th, 2020 when the Nanaimo Clippers compete against the Powell River Kings.
“This is something we have been working with Island Savings and Snuneymuxw First Nation Chief and Councillors for quite some time and are really excited to see it coming together.” commented Tali Campbell, Nanaimo Clippers General Manager. February 15th is going to be celebrated with many cultural activities and the Clippers will wear jerseys that include the Snuneymuxw designs and logo. The jerseys will only be worn on February 15th then auctioned off to the public with all net proceeds being donated to buy sporting equipment for the Snuneymuxw First Nation.
