The Nanaimo Clippers are now waiting to see who they will face in the Island Division Final however they are preparing to get the City of Nanaimo residents and businesses ready for the Island Division Final with the #PaintTheTownOrange Contest.
“This is the first time in four years the Clippers have advanced to the Island Division Final and we are looking to our community to support the guys.” mentioned Tali Campbell the teams general manager “Our fans are amazing and have supported us all season and we can’t wait to see them help us paint the town orange.”
The contest is asking residents and businesses to get creative in helping paint the town orange and let everyone know you support the Clippers in the playoffs.
“Whether it be signs in homes/business, signs in your vehicle, fun creative shirts, anything, we are just asking people to be creative to show their support,” said Tali Campbell.
The contest is simple;
1. Snap a photo of your support of helping #PaintTheTownOrange
2. Send the photo to [email protected], post on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram tagging the Nanaimo Clippers (#PaintTheTownOrange)
There will be three winners chosen after the Island Division Finals. One person will win two season tickets to next season, one person will win the 460 Realty VIP Suite for one game next season and one business will win a concourse advertisement for next season.
