The Kamloops Blazers have three players in goaltender Dylan Ernst, defenseman Mats Lindgren, and forward Connor Levis, invited to Hockey Canada’s national under-17 development camp which will run July 19-25 in a virtual format.
Ernst is among 12 goaltenders invited to the camp. He was selected by the Blazers in the 2nd round, 28th overall in the 2019 WHL Bantam Draft.

The 6’1” goaltender from Weyburn, SK played this past season with the Moose Jaw Warriors Midget AAA team. In 17 games he was 12-4-0-0 with a 2.35 goals against average and a .920 save percentage along with three shutouts. .

 

Lindgren was selected by the Blazers in the 1st round, 7th overall and he is among 37 defensemen in the camp.

Lindgren played this last season with the Burnaby Winter Club Midget Prep team where he had three goals, 20 assists and 23 points in 31 games. He also suited up in four games with the Blazers during the 2019-20 season.

Levis was selected by the Blazers in the 1st round, 20th overall in 2019. The Vancouver, BC native played with the St. George’s Midget Prep team where he had 12 goals, 14 assists and 26 points in 33 games. The 6’2” forward signed with the Blazers earlier this month.
