After a weekend of fast times and hard miles, when all was said and done, after every kilometer of every leg of the Athletics Canada 42K Relay Challenge was complete, the west was often the best.
Starting with running royalty, the BC-based Quarantine Queens took home the women’s elite division with a time of 2:22:39. Two teams from the BC Endurance Project finished 1-2 in the mixed division, with BCEP White besting their teammates BCEP Red by just over a minute, with their time of 2:11:46. Ontario’s Backroads Bandits took Eastern Canada’s only win, clocking a time of 2:12:41 to lead the men’s division.
