Canadian Girls Baseball (CGB) is a national non-profit organization that serves to deliver baseball programs to girls aged 4-16 years old. CEO and founder, Dana Bookman, started Canadian Girls Baseball after recognizing the need for baseball opportunities for girls. CGB has expanded to multiple provinces and cities across Canada. CGB is on a mission to break down barriers that tend to keep girls from playing sports. We not only provide girls the opportunity to play baseball, but also offer all female coaches and role-models, team building, and a fun and supportive environment that is inclusive of all playing levels. Canadian Girls Baseball is changing the game for girls all across Canada.
This summer Canadian Girls Baseball is coming to B.C. with locations in Vancouver and Comox Valley.
For our Comox Valley program, we are offering a 7-week program on Sunday mornings. Sessions will run from 9:00am – 10:00am for ages 4-7, and 10:15am – 12:00pm for ages 8-16. All playing levels are welcome, including girls who are new to the game of baseball. COVID-19 safety protocols will be in place based on the most up-to date provincial public health orders.
