June 12, 2021  Victoria, BC (ISN) – Vancouver Island South Football Academy players continued to polish up their game Saturday at Copley Park in preparation for “return to play” trip next Saturday in Langley, BC. Saturday, June 19th, will mark the first football games played since Covid-19 ceased all sports in British Columbia, and abroad.

VI_ South Football Academy, part of the BCPFA’s high performance regional football academy, is one of eleven regional academies in British Columbia and two academies on Vancouver Island including VI North Football Academy.

ISN’s photographer Erich Eichhorn visited Copley Park to bring us this extended look at some of the hard work local football elite are putting in in preparation for game day next week.
