The Victoria Royals are back from Christmas break and will face the Vancouver Giants three times this week before entering the new year with a game against the Kelowna Rockets.

Before leaving for the week, Victoria split a weekend battle against the Tri-City Americans, winning 3-2 on Friday followed by a 6-5 loss on Saturday. The team went 9-2-2 in their last 13 games with a ten-game point streak, moving them into playoff contention.

Tonight, the Royals play their first of three games against Vancouver when they head to Langley for a 7:00 p.m. contest. Then, the two teams will travel to Victoria for a back-to-back series on Wednesday, December 29th and Thursday, December 30th before Victoria heads to Kelowna on Saturday for an afternoon of hockey.

Wednesday, December 29th, the Royals are going back to the 80’s for Way Back Wednesday presented by Molson. The first 2,000 fans through the door will receive a neon bandana and fans are encouraged to wear their best neon outfits.

 

In preparation of our first home games with the new B.C. provincial capacity limits, the Victoria Royals are ensuring fans they remain committed to the health and safety of all players, fans and staff. The team and Save-on-Foods Memorial Centre will continue to adhere to COVID-19 protocols and guidelines to assure a safe environment for everyone.

All season ticket holders, mini pack holders and fans who have purchased single-game tickets for any upcoming games will be guaranteed entry.
