The wind was picking up and the regulars started pouring into the parking area. These guys knew what they were doing, as by the time they hit the water, the wind was definitely ramping up. After a bit of a warm-up, they were trying more aerial maneuvers, but it sounded like they needed the waves to be a bit bigger to really pull off the flips.
As an outsider watching, it didn’t take long to realize this was quite a community. Everybody seemed to know everybody and they were quick to share their knowledge and help each other. I’m definitely going to be more prepared for next time and do a better job of watching the forecast in the hope of catching an even better show.
